She is survived by: her stepchildren, Cheryl Sparks (David) and Rich Swope Jr. (Phebe) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her siblings, Sylvia Vela Jr. (Luis) of Laredo, Texas, Anita Ramirez (Joe) of San Antonio, Texas, Nora Francis (Brian) of Fenton, Michigan and Ricardo Laurel (Gabriela Gonzalez) of Boerne, Texas; her nieces and nephews, Luis Alonzo Vela (Dawn) of San Antonio, Texas, Sylvia Yvette Vela of Laredo, Texas, Debbie Wiesner (Eric) of Montrose, Colorado, Sandra Reyna (Lucas) of San Antonio, David Peter Francis and Elizabeth Laurel Francis of Fenton, Michigan; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Eric Caudle Jr. of Laredo, Texas, London Vela of San Antonio, Texas, Rome Reyna and Kay Reyna of San Antonio, Texas; and her caregivers, Ana, Gaby, Jesse, Magda and Sofia. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
