He is survived by: his children, John David Robles (Anita) and Teresa Duarte (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Whitney, Madeline, Faith, Joseph, Jr. of Diana, T. J., Stephanie and JoAnthony. He is also survived by relatives, and friends.

A rosary was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the San Agustin Cathedral (201 San Agustin Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
His contributions to the city of Midland were so impactful that he was honored with the key to the city a testament to the legacy he leaves behind.
