He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael Garcia and Amelia Garcia; his siblings, Graciela Martinez (Guadalupe), Amelia Garcia (Hector), Lucila Contreras, Ralph Garcia (Ruby), Carlos Garcia and Leticia; his children, Maiva Garcia, Monika Garay (Cesar), Maritza Garcia and Roberto Garcia (Sunshine); and his grandchildren, Anjolie, Cesar Dante, Nadia Garay, William, Mia, Melanni and Jacob.
He is survived by: his siblings, Guillermo Garcia (Genoveva) and Laura Lopez (Joe); his brother-in-law David Contreras; and his cousin Octavia Leal (Isabel T. Sanchez). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hillside Funerals & Cremations (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3601 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78041).
