It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberto Cortez Ramirez of Laredo, Texas, born in Cotulla, Texas, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everardo Ramirez Sr. and Luz Cortez Ramirez; his siblings, Everardo Ramirez Jr., Lucy Rivera and Alicia Wise; and his in-laws, Jose Luis, Raquel Salas, Jorge Luis Lugo and Rudolfo Rivera.
He is survived by: his wife Consuelo Ramirez; his children, Cordelia Villarreal (Jaime Sr.) of Fort Worth Texas, Victoria Garza (Ricardo) of Laredo Texas, Cynthia Ramirez Williams of New Braunfels Texas, Kristina Guerra (Javier) of Laredo Texas and Roberto Ramirez Jr. (Carolina) of Rockport Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Lugo, Lillian Ramirez and Lucio Wise. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Hillside Funerals & Cremations (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A procession was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (555 E Del Mar Blvd, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (555 E Del Mar Blvd, Laredo, TX 78041).
