He was predeceased by: his grandson Adrian Hernandez; and his parents, Pedro Guzman and Maria De Jesus Guzman. He is survived by: his wife Juana Guzman; his children, Sylvia Nassar (Victor), Graciela Torres (Jesus Rigoberto), Rosa Hernandez (Armando), Juanita Moreno (Daniel), Primo Joel Guzman (Adriana) and Alejandro Guzman; and his brother Ruben. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joe Jackson Heights Funeral & Cremation Service (719 N Loring Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels (719 N Loring Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (109 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
