She is survived by: her husband Jose Avila; her children, Luis Estrada (Karina), Julian Estrada (Maribel), Jorge Estrada, Patricia Alvarado (Eduardo), Jose Antonio Avila (Mindi), Gerardo Avila (Abigail) and Leticia Avila; her mother Lucinda Estrada Vital; and her grandchildren, Luis Adrian, Anakaren, Nikolas, Erik, Valeria, Juliana, Adan, Mia, Jose Antonio, Katie, Meagan, Emily, Amberly, Angel, Miguel Angel and Genesis. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services (1320 Trey Dr, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the San Luis Rey Catholic Church (3501 Sanders Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the City Cemetery (3200 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78040).
