He was predeceased by: his father Marcelino Salazar. He is survived by: his wife Sara Salazar; his children, Miguel Salazar Jr. (Eduardo Salazar) and Ana Karen Salazar; his mother Bertha A. Castellanos; and his siblings, Renato Salazar (Elvira), Marcelino Jr. Salazar (Meli), Rita Salazar, Martha Chapa (Lamberto) and Patricia Vargas (Ruben). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rose Garden Funeral Home (2102 US-83, Zapata, TX 78076). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location.
