She was predeceased by: her husband Jose "Pepe" Monsivais; her parents, Maria Garcia and Agustin Garcia; her siblings, Roberto Garcia, Eva Gomez and Ramon Garcia; and her great grandchild Jose Luis Monsivais III.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Belinda Andrade (Juan), Jose Luis "Cochi" Moncivais (Alma Belinda), Maricela Monsivais Thorpe (Horace) and Jaime Monsivais (Norma). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
