She was predeceased by: her husband Jose "Pepe" Monsivais; her parents, Maria Garcia and Agustin Garcia; her siblings, Roberto Garcia, Eva Gomez and Ramon Garcia; and her great grandchild Jose Luis Monsivais III.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Belinda Andrade (Juan), Jose Luis "Cochi" Moncivais (Alma Belinda), Maricela Monsivais Thorpe (Horace) and Jaime Monsivais (Norma). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services (1320 Trey Dr, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the San Francisco Javier Catholic Church (2502 Zaragoza St, Laredo, TX 78040). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Ave, Laredo, TX 78041).
