She was predeceased by: her grandmother Francisca "Panchita" Martinez; and her brother Juan Mojica. She is survived by: her husband Jesus A. Johnson; her son Jesus A. Johnson Jr.; her mother Maria Magdalena Cantu; her siblings, Roberto Garza (Sandra), Ana Cantu, Claudia Monreal (Sergio) and Jose Mojica (Betty); her granddaughter Clementine Johnson; and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Garza, Roberto Garza Jr., Elina Garza, Alyin Rios, Markie Rios, Leo Cantu, Julio Monreal, Pamela Monreal, Diego Monreal, Danny Monreal and Juan Mojica Jr..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Hillside Funerals & Cremations (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (1105 Tilden Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A procession was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Will Depart the Funeral Home.
