She was predeceased by: her husband Angel Talamantes; her parents, Teofilo Rios Cisneros and Ana Rios Rosales; and her siblings, Tarcila Rios Rosales, Martha Rios Rosales, Jose "Pepe" Rios Rosales and Juan Angel Rios Rosales.
She is survived by: her children, Manuel Aragon (Debbie), Elizabeth Talamantes Romero (Cesar), Roselia Talamantes Rangel (Juan), Nora Talamantes Lopez and Diane Lois Talamantes Christou; her grandchildren, Alex, Gilbert, Gloria, Isaac, Evelyn, Anna, Juan Jr., Rosangelica, Cynthia, Daniela, Liliana, Maribel and Steven; her sister Maria Luisa Rios Rosales; and her niece Silvia Marin Rios Rosales. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services (1320 Trey Dr, Laredo, TX 78041). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (1510 Matamoros St, Laredo, TX 78040). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Ave, Laredo, TX 78041).
