She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfonso Mendiola and Lilia Mendiola; her husband Daniel Herrera; her sisters, Martha M. Mendez and Yvonne M. Gutierrez; and her nieces, Maribelle C. Garza and Lily Mendez.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Iruegas (Gilberto Jr.), Marissa Herrera and Daniel Herrera, Jr.; her grandchildren, Annalise Iruegas, Isela Iruegas and Isaiah Herrera; her siblings, Tonie, Alfonso Mendiola, Jr. (Annie) and Grace M. Garza (Jerry); and her brother-in-law Julio Mendez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
