She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Koopman; her parents, Lorence Gunderman and Ada Gunderman; and her siblings, Alan, Janet (Bouman) and Ivan. She is also survived by her nine children, 25 grandchildren, 49 (and counting) great-grandchildren, as well as three siblings.
