He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilberto Cuevas and Virginia V. Cuevas; and his brother Gilberto Cuevas Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Maria F. Cuevas; his son Juan F. Cuevas Jr. (Rosie); his grandsons, Juan F. Cuevas III and Jesus Cuevas; and his sister Graciela Ramirez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
