He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Juan Bryand and Elisa Flores; and his mother Monica Garza of Laredo. He is survived by: his children, Jesus A. Chan, Baltazar Chan of Laredo, Esmeralda Chan and Raquel Rios of Luling. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
