He is survived by: his wife Taylor Simonton; his daughters, Maddilynn Garcia and Jalynn Garcia; his parents, Gabriela G. Hinojosa and Jorge Garcia (Jessica); and his siblings, Krystal Nicole De Leon, Ramiro Marin Jr., Rene Gabriel Hinojosa Jr. and Gabriel Rene Hinojosa. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Service (1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, TX 78043). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church (2710 Boulanger St, Laredo, TX 78043).
