He was predeceased by: his mother Dolores Paez Herrera. He is survived by: his children, Joanna Herrera (Francisco Luna), Jolynn Herrera and Jose Carlos Herrera (Sonia); his grandchildren, Lorenzo Rafael, Frankyjo Luna, Carlos, Deandra, Alex, Jacob and Allison Herrera; and his siblings, Rene Herrera, Irene (Francisco) and Ana.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hillside Funerals & Cremation Service (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A prayer was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (102 Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the Laredo City Cemetery (3201 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78041).
