He was predeceased by: his grandson Jerry Garay; and his parents, Jose Guadalupe Gomez-Peña and Elvira Reyes Gomez. He is survived by: his wife Maria C. Garay. He is also survived by his numerous children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
