He was predeceased by: his wife Graciela N. Garza; his parents, Jose Garza and Adelina Gutierrez Garza; and his sister Alicia. He is survived by: his children, Jose Garza Jr., Rita Cabello (Jorge), Veronica Castillo (Victor), Elma Martinez (Peter) and Ricky Garza (Cristina); his grandchildren, Joe Michael Garza (Sally), Corina Grace (Joe), Victoria Alejandra Creel (Ty), Clarissa Bossaller (Michael), Gabriella Teresa Castillo, Cristina Cabello, Victor Alonso Castillo, Diego Cabello and Elizabeth Grace Martinez; his great grandchildren, Minerva Jade Garza and William Castian Creel; and his siblings, Roberto Garza (Graciela) and Graciela. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
