He is survived by: his parents, Jose Ponce Jr. and Juanita Irma Ibarra; his children, Savannah Peña, Jose Ponce IV (Kassandra), Jonathan Noel Ponce, Luis Eduardo Ponce (Rowan), Sarinah Joy Ponce (Frank Ybarra III) and Leah Nora Ponce (Jorge Diaz Jr.); his sister Jennifer Ann Ponce (Emilio); his goddaughter Vianey Perez; and his aunt Ina Concepcion Ibarra. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A vigil service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the Begin Departing the Funeral Home. A Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the San Luis Rey Catholic Church (3502 Sanders Ave, Laredo, TX 78040).
