He is survived by: his children, Imelda Mendez (Héctor), Oscar San Miguel (Sylvia), Amaro San Miguel and Tomas San Miguel (Diana); and his sister Lucia Capetillo. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the San Luis Rey Catholic Church (3502 Sanders Ave, Laredo, TX 78041). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
