He is survived by: his children, Javier Lira Jr. (Julia), Juan Lira (Georgina), Eliza Valverde (Jose Luis) and Miguel Angel Lira; his grandchildren, Osiris Lira, Travis Lira, Dominic Lira, Andrea Valverde, Anissa Valverde, Olivia Valverde and Ana Paula Valverde; his siblings, Silvester, Gloria Ramon (Ruben), Alicia Villarreal (Pedro), Gilda Medina (Joe) and Raquel Reyna (Oscar); and his sisters-in-law, San Juana Lira and Maria Concepcion Lira.
