Gomez; her in-laws, Dr. Jose Raul Mena, Reynaldo Garza, Segundo, Maria Perez, Olga Perez, Juan Guerra, Edna Perez, Rodolfo Oliveria, Rosa Elena Perez, Octavio Guajardo, Fidel Perez Jr., Juan Perez, Angelina Benavides, Roque Perez and Sara Hernandez; and her nephews, Dr. Jose Raul Mena Jr. and Pedro Vasquez Jr..

She is survived by : her husband Humberto; her son Dr. Armando I.; her daughter-in-law Melissa Bustamante; her grandchildren, Karina Denise, Cristian Isaac and Magaly Anahi Perez; her sisters, Maria Antonieta Gomez and Graciela G. Mena; and her in-laws, Dr. Alejandro, Alma Perez, Catalina Perez Garza and Alicia G. Perez.
