He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Garza-Gongora and Judith Garza-Gongora. He is survived by: his daughter Adriana Garza-Gongora (Albert Tovar); his granddaughter Selika Tovar; and his siblings, Judith Capo (Enrique), Carlos Garza-Gongora Jr., Felix Garza-Gongora, Ernesto Garza-Gongora (Bibi), Roberto Garza-Gongora (Gretel) and Eduardo Garza-Gongora (Adriana). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
