We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2024, at the age of 49, Gerardo Medina in Laredo, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Marcelino G. Medina; his brothers, Marcelino Medina III and Gabriel Medina; his grandparents, Marcelino, Victoria Medina, Basilio Salas Sr. and Maria De Jesus Salas; and his parents-in-law, Rodolfo and Amalia Lara.
He is survived by: his wife Martina Medina; his son Gerardo Medina Jr.; his mother Juanita Medina; and his siblings, Veronica Medina (Juan Alarcon) and Alfredo Medina (Olinda).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services (1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, TX 78043). A rosary will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (1602 Garcia St, Laredo, TX 78040). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
