He was predeceased by: his niece Monica Lee Jimenez; his grandparents, Carmelo, Jesusita Hernandez, Eugenio and Aurora Garza; his aunts and uncles, Eduardo Garza, Alma Garza, Hector Hernandez (Martha), Carmen (Arturo) and Julian Juarez; and his cousin David Juarez.
He is survived by: his parents, Roberto Hernandez Sr. and Juanita G. Hernandez; his siblings, Elsa Jimenez (Raul) and Roberto Hernandez Jr.; his sister-in-law Yvette Mojica; his nephews, Raul Jimenez Jr. and Roberto Diego Hernandez; his niece Clarissa Michelle Jimenez (Jerry Rangel); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isaura Monica Jimenez, Mia Isela Jimenez, Delilah Rangel, Jerry Rangel Jr. and Katalyna Lee Rangel; and his aunts and uncles, Olga Juarez, Gregorio Garza, Victor Garza, Maria Garza Panther and Veronica Garza Romero. He is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 9:15 AM and from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the San Martin de Porres Catholic Church (1704 Sandman St, Laredo, TX 78041). Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hillside Funerals & Cremations (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
