It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Federico Martinez (Laredo, Texas), who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Tobias and Consuelo Martinez; and his brothers, Victor Martinez and Leon Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Maria G. Martinez; his children, Cynthia Espinoza (Pedro), Eduardo Martinez (Stephanie), Yvonne Martinez and Alberto Martinez; his grandchildren, Christian Ovalle, Isabella Espinoza, Kalel Herrera and Logan Martinez; his siblings, Juan Martinez, Teresa Garcia, Joe Martinez (Sandra) and Irma Martinez; and his sister-in-law Maria Martinez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hillside Funerals & Cremations (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). The military honors was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 9:00 PM at the same location.
