She was predeceased by: her parents, Refugia Escamilla and Genaro Escamilla of Premont; and her siblings, Genaro, Erasmo, Edmundo, Adan, Hilda, Mary and Petra.
She is survived by: her spouse Cesareo Rene Porras; her children, Cynthia Porras Morales (Jorge), Thelma Porras Nance (Wayne) and Paul Rene Porras (Ana Laura); her grandchildren, Astrid (Eloy), Daniela, Isabelle, Sophia, Pablo and Eva Simone; her great grandchild Ezra; and her brother Edward Escamilla (Maria).
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (1610 Hidalgo Blvd, Zapata, TX 78076). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Zapata County Cemetery.
