She was predeceased by: her husband Juan Medrano; her grandsons, Eduardo Serna-Medrano and Juan Carlos; her parents, Marciano Rodriguez and Julia Montes; and her siblings, Rosalinda Rodriguez Montes, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Alejandrina Rodriguez and Margarita Rodriguez.

She is survived by: her daughters, Esther Medrano, Janie Medrano, Erika Medrano, Juliana Medrano and Mia Garza.
