He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Shinn and Mary Little Shinn; and his brothers, Richard L. Shinn and Gerald L. Shinn. He is survived by: his siblings, David Shinn (Melissa Salinas), Veronica Connor (Mike) and Philip L. Shinn (Carrie); and his nieces and nephews, Philip Michael Connor (Brittani), Patrick, Matthew, Thomas Connor, Amanda, Meagan and Richard Shinn.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hillside Funerals and Cremations (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (102 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3601 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78041).
