Gomez; her parents, Adrian Montemayor and Delfina Montemayor; and her siblings, Magdalena Gunnoe, Alfredo, Adrian "Nati" and Javier Montemayor.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Gomez (Juan), Juanita Jimenez (Manuel), Esteban Ayala (Mary) and Ruben Ayala; her grandchildren, Sandra García (Martin), Melissa Vedarte (Javier), Eduardo Jiménez (Maricela), Bonnie Melendez (Arturo Millan), Cindy Escudero (Amador), Esteban Ayala Jr. (Anita), Steven Ayala (Ema), Robert Ayala, Delia Johnson (John), Denise Ayala, Priscilla Salazar (Sergio), Joe Lopez, Jorge Lopez, Ricky Ayala, Jesse Ayala, Danny Ayala, Ruby Ayala, Michelle Ayala, Javier Ayala (Shyanne), Noelani Ayala, Orlando Ayala and Audrey Ayala; her sister Josie M. Perez; her sister-in-law Catalina Montemayor; and her caregivers, Angelica Mendez, Mary Valenzuela and Sylvia of Alva.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the San Luis Rey Catholic Church (3502 Sanders Ave, Laredo, TX 78041). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
