He is survived by: his wife Monica Orfila York; his children, Joanna Dorey (Tim) and David James York; his granddaughter Charlotte Emma Dorey; his sister Sandra Lozano; his nieces and nephews, Sandra E, Humberto D, Alejandra D and Diego A. Lozano; his mother-in-law Alicia G (Orfila); and his brothers-in-law, Santiago Orfila (Alma) and Leopoldo Orfila.
