He was predeceased by: his wife Josefina O. Torres; his daughter Guadalupe Dalia Martinez; his parents, Dionicio Torres and Andrea Torres; and his great grandchild Xander Trinidad Torres.
He is survived by: his children, Blas D. Torres Jr. (Maria Esther), Francisco J. Torres, Geraldine D. Herrera (David), Josefina Esther Garcia and Jo Emma Moreno (Juan Carlos). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services (1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, TX 78043). A prayer was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
