She is survived by: her grandson Jaedon Chase; her sisters, Oralia and Mary; her husband Jose Guadalupe; her children, Joe Benavides (April), Rosie Gutierrez (Mike), Hector Benavides (Kelley), Lilly Benavides (Manuel), Gilbert Benavides (Anel) and Dr. David Benavides (Lora); her grandchildren, Jose Roel, Javier Roldan, Yovanna, Amber (Alvaro), Miguel Angel III, Anali, Ashley, Kassandra, Christopher, Manuel, Aleksandra, Matthew, Emmanuel, Gilberto II, Victoria, Alyson, Braelyn and Joaquin; her great grandchildren, Andreanna, Weston and Taetum; and her siblings, Jose Gilberto, Jr., Grisela, Dinora, Sylvia and Teodoro G..
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services (1320 Trey Dr, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1718 San Jorge Ave, Laredo, TX 78040).
