She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Fuentes Rodriguez and San Juana Zamora Chavez; her son Jesus Fuentes Vera; and her sisters, Martha Fernandez, Concepcion Reyes, Rosalinda Morales and Guadalupe Martinez.
She is survived by: her husband Manuel Vera; her children, Evangelina Castañeda (Martin), Adriana Silva (Rene), Lucia Vera, Manuel Vera Jr. (Thelma), Cristina Chiquillo (Oscar), Elias Vera and Rebecca Patlan (Eric); and her sisters, Juana Fuentes Villar and Maria Antonieta Fuentes. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
