She was predeceased by: her husband Mario S. Martinez; her daughter Estela Palacios; her grandson Mario Jesus Palacios; her parents, Rodolfo Martinez and Angela Ramirez; and her siblings, Rosario Martinez, Raul Martinez and Arturo Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Mario Martinez (Rose), Sylvia Martinez (Eduardo), Hilda Castillo (Javier), Araceli Rodriguez (Luis), Sergio Martinez, Beatriz Flores (Santiago), Nora and Margarita Gallegos, III (Isidoro). She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A prayer was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1718 San Jorge Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Laredo Cemetery (3200 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78040).
