He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Villarreal and Juanita Villarreal; and his sister Lucia Vasquez (Jaime). He is survived by: his wife Rosaura Villarreal; his children, Alejando Villarreal Jr., Alma Villarreal (Jose Angel), Ruben Villarreal (Blanca), Aracely Morales (Miguel), Alberto Villarreal, Angelica Villarreal and Ramiro Villarreal (Nicolasa); and his siblings, Jose, Oscar, Delia, Sylvia, Norma, Ofelia and Irma. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
