She was predeceased by: her parents, William Simmons and Maudie Simmons; her husband G. C. Moor, Jr.; and her siblings, Grady Simmons, Perry Simmons, Olivia Myers, Marie Long, Nell Eubanks, Mamie Ballard, Sal Stevenson and Danny Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Thomas (T. J.) and Joey Moor (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Danny Smith (Lena), Amanda Bennett (David), Kristin Palmer (Brad) and David Moor (Denay). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and the Thomas extended family.
