He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father James; his former wife Barbara Crockett; his wife Barbara Crew (Crockett) of Lantana, TX; his children, Cindi Andrews (Scott) of Cedar Hill, TX and Scott Crew (Michael Randolph) of Arlington, TX; his mother Marie Crew (Lutz) of Denton, TX; his siblings, Vera Davis (Rick) of Omaha, NE and James Crew, Jr. (Kate) of Grove, OK; his sister-in-law Nancy Gilmore (Buddy) of Lantana, TX; his nieces, Dana Guiney (Damien) of Omaha, NE, Sandi Smellie (Mike) of Kansas City, MO and Wendy Kudrna (Todd) of Overland Park, KS; and his nephew Ty Gilmore (Carolyn) of Dallas, TX. He was also cherished by 10 great nieces and nephews and four great-great nieces and nephews.
