He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Walker, Sr. and Bernese Nelson Walker; his son Corey Armstrong; his grandson Corey Armstrong, Jr.; and his brother Phillip Walker.

He is survived by: his daughter Mary Walker; his grandsons, Liam and Matthew Armstrong; his brothers, James Walker and Lance Wood; his uncle Ronnie Nelson; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Armstrong; and his close friends, Don Lampkin and James Josey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Mary to help with funeral expenses.
