She is survived by: her husband James Earl Golden of Lancaster; her daughter Waneta Lee Chenault (Scott) of Flower Mound; and her granddaughters, Lisa and Kate Chenault.

Because of the current situation we are all dealing with surrounding Covid-19 and restrictions on the number of people allowed at gatherings, Soon Ja's family will be having a private funeral at Byrum Funeral Home in Lancaster, Texas.
