It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kay Phillips (Lancaster, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Jack and Rosa Anna Wakeland; and her siblings, Doris Jean McDonald, Nancy Pena and Malcom Ray Wakeland.
She is survived by: her husband Sam 'Butch Phillips; her children, Rodney Dryden and Rhonda Thomas-Peters (Erich Peters); her brother Walter Wakeland (Jeannie Wakeland); her stepchildren, Michael, Prima Calvaresi and Sam Phillips; her grandchildren, Aaron Thomas, Evelyn, Emily Peters, Michael Jr., Gabe, Raphael and Matteo Calvaresi; and her sister-in-law Jeanne Watson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
