He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harmon and Beulah Mae Burgin (Perry); his wife Florence Riseley Burgin; his siblings, Joseph Delton (J. D.), Lois Williams (Ories) and Ila Minkler (Homer); and his brother-in-law Felix Freeman.
He is survived by: his daughter Margaret Ann Shepherd (David); his grandchildren, Kyle Shepherd (Janna), Paige Salinas (Greg), Todd Grubbs (Mary Neal) and Ian Grubbs (Kelty); his great grandchildren, Cody, Wyatt, Abel, Mya and Ashton; his siblings, Imogene Freeman, William Edgar Burgin and Robert Burgin (Tillie); and his brother-in-law Les Riseley (Lyn). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
