He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Edwin Nystrom and Elsie Elizabeth Olander Nystrom; and his wife Jane Nystrom. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Charlsie Bynum; his granddaughters, Amy Bynum (Dwayne King), Angela Bynum (John Neese) and Andrea Bynum; and his great grandchildren, Ella Jane King and Bryan Bynum-Kempf.
