It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Sharon Smith Douglas (Lancaster, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl McKinney Smith and Nynva J. Tyner Smith; her siblings, Earl "Bud" Smith (Joyce) and Linda Franks (Lonnie); and her son-in-law Steven D. Moore.

She is survived by: her children, Amie Dean Douglas and Kenneth Scott Douglas (Laurie); her granddaughters, Dylann, Lauren and Reagan; and also Byrum.

THE FAMILY STRONGLY REQUESTS THAT IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, MEMORIALS BE MADE IN RITA'S NAME TO BRISTOL HOSPICE.
