It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Winniford Morton (Lancaster, Texas), who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Harry Lewis; his parents, Jack and Ethel; his brother Jack Batchler Morton; and his son Alexander Hogue.
He is survived by: his nieces, Melissa Morton Lackman (Vernon) of Santa Clarita, CA and Nanci Morton Harper (Robert) of Sacramento, CA; and his close friend Manuel "Chuy" Montelongo-Valdez.
