It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Sophie Gerlich (Lancaster, Texas), born in Abbott, Texas, who passed away on February 12, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Pibil and Gracie Pibil; and her husband William Vernon Gerlich. She is survived by: her nieces, Patsy Makovy, Shirley Blanchard and Lisa Pibil Mynar; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Gerlich of Albina Macha. She is also survived by extended family and numerous friends.
