He was predeceased by: his sister Annie Pearl Miles; his stepmothers, Rose Woodard Cooper and Dorothy Jewel Cooper; and his stepsiblings, Nedra Gail Moore, Johnny Singleton and Leonard Curtis Franklin, Sr..
He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Cooper (Georgia) of Jefferson, Texas, Rosie Graham of Harleton, Linda Mohr of Kansas City and Annetta Rochelle Rand of Jefferson, Texas; his half-brother Arthur Cooper of San Leandro, California; his stepsiblings, Aubrey Morrow, Sr. (Sonja) of Harleton, Texas, Linda Dyan Stoker of Marshall, Texas. and Judy Morrow of Marshall, Texas.; his close friend Willie Marie Morrow of Lancaster; his stepsons, John Reliford and Alan Reliford; his stepgranddaughter Alexandria Reliford; and his stepgreat-grandson Traishon Sullivent of Lancaster, Texas. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
