He is survived by: his children, Elden Smith (Kathy), Kirk Smith (Julie) and Sheila Barnes (Ricky); and his grandchildren, Branden Smith, Brook Smith, JoAnne Walters, Cody Smith, April Hopkins and Jeremey Dale. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
