He was predeceased by: his parents, T. "Mutt" Brewer and Vivian Brewer; his former wife Ginger Billings (Brewer); and his wife Glenda Brewer (Burke). He is survived by: his former wife Ginger Brewer (Littlejohn); his wife Johnnie Brewer; his children, Stephen Brewer, Phillip Brewer and Rebecca Little (Brewer); his stepchildren, John Dobson, Allie Savala and Jamie White; his sister Barbara Boyd; his nieces and nephews, Chris Boyd and Carol Boyd Saunders; his brother Marcus Brewer; his grandchildren, Ryan Brewer, Lauren Greener, Erin Cuff, Amy Jacobsen, Sara Brewer, Aaron, Amethyst Brewer and Christopher Savala; and his great grandchildren, Spencer Taylor, Noah Cuff and Presley Cuff. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
