He was predeceased by: his wife Flo; his daughter Nancy; and his siblings, Hector, Juan Jose and Milagros.

He is survived by: his sons, Rick Renta (Diane), Larry Renta (Vicki) and Kerry Renta (Esmeralda); and his grandchildren, Gary, Trent, Mandy, Cristin, Chelsea, Austin, Ashlea, Lacea, Lyndsey and Hannah. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
